Handcrafted in our Mesa, Arizona shop from solid maple and walnut, this long-grain cutting board is designed for easy, everyday use and to add a personal touch to any kitchen. Built with a slimmer profile and finished with a custom walnut inlay, it offers a balance of practicality, comfort, and personal detail that fits naturally into daily routines.
Lighter in weight and easier to handle than an end-grain board, this piece is ideal for frequent prep, quick cleanups, and everyday cooking. It is designed to be reached for often, used without hesitation, and kept close at hand.
Materials and Dimensions
Size: 19 x 13 x 1 inches
Crafted from premium hardwood maple with a contrasting walnut inlay
Finished with 100% mineral oil and hand-buffed with board wax on the working surface
All finishes and products used are food-safe
Construction and Features
Long-grain construction offers strong durability while remaining lightweight and easy to maneuver
Custom walnut inlay adds a refined, personal detail without overpowering the design
Integrated hand-holds carved into the sides for comfortable lifting and handling, proportioned to match the board’s thickness and weight
Optional juice groove to help contain liquids during food preparation
Optional added feet - add stability and prevent movement during use (available in two styles, see pictures)
Customization Process
Each board is made to order and customized specifically for you.
Select initials, a family name, or other text to be inlaid in walnut - your desired text will be entered in the “Custom Message” form when ordering
Please select from available styles 1-6 and indicate your selection in the “Custom Message” form when ordering (styles 1-6 shown in the product photos) - or reach out with any special requests
Inlays are centered by default to maintain a clean, balanced design - please email us prior to ordering if you would like to request an alternate placement such as a side or corner
A CAD draft of your custom inlay will be created and shared via email, for your approval before your board is made
Made One at a Time
Each board is made to order and handcrafted from natural hardwood, so no two will ever be exactly alike. Variations in grain, color, and tone are a natural part of the material and part of what gives every piece its individual character. After order approval, the time it takes to make your custom piece is considered the processing time. Processing times are typically 2-4 weeks. Shipping times are calculated separately from processing time.
